Several Members Have Left the Agency, Leaving Three Original Band Members Remaining

Hongseok, a member of the boy band Pentagon, has concluded his seven-year journey with Cube Entertainment, as confirmed by the agency.

Cube Entertainment announced the departure of five other members of Pentagon, namely Yeo One, Yanan, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok, on October 9. With Hongseok's exit, only three original band members remain under the agency.

The remaining members include Hui, Jinho, and Shinwon. Hui and Jinho had their contracts temporarily paused due to mandatory military service.

Cube Entertainment expressed gratitude towards Hongseok for his passion and talent exhibited as a member of Pentagon since the group's debut in 2016. The agency conveyed its best wishes for Hongseok's future endeavors.

Pentagon made their debut on October 10, 2016, with ten original members. E'Dawn, now known as Dawn, left both the band and the agency in September 2018.

Following the departure of the five members from the agency, Pentagon released a digital single titled "With Universe" on October 10. Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok participated in the single, while Yanan was unable to join due to personal schedules.

Cube Entertainment did not address the ongoing rumors concerning the group's potential pause in group activities or disbandment.
