Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello officially announced the partnership with Frieze Seoul. To commentate, Saint Laurent collaborated with Korean contemporary artist Lee Bae, who is well-known as an 'artist of charcoal.' His focus has been on this age-old material charcoal for over three decades. He uses a large brush to glide black charcoal powder across the white background.
The works presented in the booth are exclusively drawn for Saint Laurent to exhibit during Frieze Seoul.
