The 'Shinmongyudowondo’ by Suk Chul-Joo, a master of Korean painting, appeared at the presidential banquet and is becoming a hot topic.
On the 19th, On the wall of the banquet hall in the president's office that was released to the press, two Korean paintings by Painter Suk Chul-Joo, caught attention.
The 'Shinmongyudowondo’ by Suk as a series since 2005 is a work that paid homage to The 'Mongyudowondo' drawn by An Gyeon, a famous painter of the Joseon Dynasty.
These works show the essence of his original art spirit. He had been evaluated for opening a new horizon in contemporary Korean painting, so he received the Grand Prize in the creative category of the 2nd Korea Critics Association in 2010.
It is the second time his work has been hung in Cheongwadae (The Blue House) after the 'Blue and White Porcelain'.
The 'Shinmongyudowondo' is a masterpiece that draws attention with its delicate color harmony reminiscent of the subtle changes of the seasons and bold and beautiful brush strokes.
Meanwhile, The solo exhibition of Painter Suk Chul-Joo is being held at the exhibition room of the Bichae Art Museum in Bangbae-dong, Seoul until the 25th. The exhibition is free to enter.
President Yoon Seok-yeol invited the National Assembly Speakers of the second half of the 21st National Assembly to have a dinner at the Presidential Office in Yongsan, Seoul. The dinner was attended by National Assembly Speaker Kim Jin-pyo, National Assembly Vice Speakers Kim Young-Joo and Jeong Jin-Seok, National Assembly Secretary-General Lee Kwang-jae, Chief Presidential Secretary Kim Dae-gi, and Senior presidential Political Affairs Officer Jin-bok Lee.
