Asia’s largest art fair, ‘Art Basel Hong Kong’, which reopened after four years, is welcoming the audience.
177 galleries from 32 countries participated in this year's event, a significant increase from last year when 137 galleries participated.
A total of 12 galleries in Korea participated. Among them, the Arario Gallery is receiving great attention from visitors.
Arario Gallery staged the works of 13 leading Asian artists, including Buen CALUBAYAN, CHOI Byungso, Subodh GUPTA, HUANG Yuanqing, JING Shijian, JUNG Kangja, KIM Soun-Gui, LEE Jinju, LIANG Manqi, Kohei NAWA, NOH Sangho, Eko NUGROHO, UM Tai-Jung.
In particular, Kim Soun-Gui, a pioneer of Korean contemporary art, has created a great sensation by presenting various performances and conceptual art to the audience since the late 1960s.
