You can call it oxymoron."
The four seasons are the main subjects and materials of art. Especially in painting, landscape is the main subject and immediate topic.
In what form and meaning can the four seasons be drawn in abstract painting?
As a landscape, I replaced the four seasons with images in my mind and painted them as abstract paintings in my imagination. For that, I used digital painting to sketch and color by drawing. And I transformed the picture by painting over the print with intense oil pastels and detailed color pencils.
Winter is a season that shines beautifully with snow and ice, but in the city and reality, it is a difficult time to fight the cold in the dark and dream of a warm place.
I painted the city and the four seasons that exist in reality as abstractions. My four seasons are dark and difficult. But in my paintings, hope and beauty coexist. You can call it oxymoron. by Stonie Kang
