Artside Gallery first opened in Insa-dong, 1999, with a practical objective of “Art is Ceaseless centering of Side”. Large-scale exhibitions could be accommodated in three stories of the building, and the Window Gallery facing the street would be operated for talented emerging artists, thus enabling the Gallery to present a broad spectrum of exhibitions.

In 2010, Artside Gallery relocated to Tongui-Dong, an area where Korea’s modern history is still intact and has been actively active in both domestic and overseas, grown to have become a influential gallery amongst the world of art.
Artside has been leading the way to introduce able artists and their art from Korea, China and also Europe into Korea’s world of art.

These activities and spaces of Artside Gallery work as a borderless gate connecting the international art market and Asia’s art circles, and form common themes for the cultures of the East and West, an amalgamation of the arts, and the development of international works.
