Gallery KKI Brings Emerging Artists to ART BUSAN 2023

Gallery KKI, a contemporary art gallery in South Korea, founded in 2017 by visionary art director and Korean actor Lee Kwang-ki, participates in ART BUSAN 2023 at Booth D-32. The gallery has consistently held individual and group exhibitions, presenting the works of promising emerging artists to contribute to the growth of the Korean art scene.

To May 7th, Gallery KKI will showcase a selection of works by several artists, including Kim Kangyong, Kim Yunshin, Byun Shiji, Suh JungTae, Woo Jongtaek, Yang Jongyong, and Remy Hysbergue. Additionally, works by Alain Clement will be available for viewing by request at the booth.

His unique works, based on velvet support, challenge the boundaries of abstraction and explore the possibilities of unconventional surfaces. Gallery KKI has recently signed an Asia-wide exclusive contract with Hysbergue, and his works will be shown in Korea for the first time. The luminosity and materiality of his works, due to the qualities of velvet, can only be fully appreciated in person.

With the public dates running from May 5th to May 7th.
