The world-famous British Art fair 'Frieze' finally landed in Korea.
It is one of the ‘three major art fairs in the world’ along with Art Basel in Switzerland and FIAC in France. Frieze, led by prestigious British galleries, reigns supreme as the best art fair in the British&United States.
Here are some of the highlights from Frieze SEOUL.

During Frieze Seoul period, 110 famous galleries from 21 countries around the world, including world famous galleries Gagosian, Parottain and etc.
The fair divided into three sections: Main, Masters, and Focus Asia.

In the Main section, major contemporary artworks from around the world were placed. In the Masters section, major art works from ancient times to the 20th century and In the Focus Asia section, several works by Asian young galleries were on display.

In the Frieze Masters section total of 18 galleries presented masterpieces from
modern and contemporary art such as Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Francis Bacon and more.

ACQUAVELLA gallery in booth number M12, in masters section, presented the most expensive piece of artwork among the fair. It is "Femme au beret rouge a pompon" (1937) by Pablo Picasso, worth approximately $45million.

In Castelli Gallery has summoned the master of pop art. Several 1980s works by Roy Fox Lichtenstein, famous for 'Tears', were displayed in the booth. Annely Juda Fine Art was gaining momentum with British pop artist David Hockney at the forefront.

Saint Laurent’s creative director officially announced the partnership with Frieze Seoul. Saint Laurent collaborated with Korean contemporary artist Lee Bae, who is well-known as an 'artist of charcoal.' His focus has been on this age-old material charcoal for over three decades. He uses a large brush to glide black charcoal powder across the white background. The works presented in the booth are exclusively drawn for Saint Laurent to exhibit during Frieze Seoul.

Overall the Frieze Seoul exhibition hall presented a variety section with a unique view on historical art and contemporary art, with works made before the year 2000 to recent years
