An Exclusive Look at Upcoming Design Trends and Awards in Seoul

The 2023 DDP Design Launching Fair is set to take place soon, where a collaboration of small business owners and designers will showcase design products anticipated to set new lifestyle trends. 

A comprehensive review process resulted in the selection of 60 excellent products, among which 4 will receive the esteemed Best Design Award and the Seoul Special Mayor’s Award. Notably, the top three products have already been chosen through expert evaluation, and a final award-winning product was determined through a citizen vote commencing on September 20. The product securing the highest number of votes will receive a prize of 2 million won and the prestigious Best Design-Citizen Award' from the Seoul Mayor’s Award.

Moreover, the "Seoul Design 2023" event is scheduled from October 24 to November 2 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), showcasing all 60 excellent collaboration products from the "2023 DDP Design Launching Fair". Currently, early bird reservation discounts are being offered on the official website (www.seoul-design.or.kr).
