Seventeen's 11th EP, titled "Seventeenth Heaven," has dominated multiple music charts, solidifying its impressive presence in the music industry.
On Wednesday, the EP secured the top spot on Oricon's daily album ranking. It also demonstrated its global appeal by ascending to the peak of the iTunes albums chart in Japan and Line Music's real-time albums chart. The achievement of sitting at the top of these charts was confirmed by Pledis Entertainment, the agency representing Seventeen.
Notably, "Seventeenth Heaven" marked a significant milestone in the Korean music scene as it instantly claimed the number one position on all major music charts in South Korea, including Melon's Top 100. This accomplishment made Seventeen the first boy band to achieve this feat in the current year.
Impressively, this 13-member group introduced an eight-track mini album to their fans on Monday and managed to sell over 4 million copies in just two days. Even before its release, the album had garnered substantial anticipation, amassing more than 5.2 million preorders. This impressive preorder count has set a new record in K-pop history, underscoring Seventeen's immense popularity and the widespread excitement for their music.
