GALLERY ARTSOOP opened in October 2012 in Haeundae, which has the most beautiful natural landscape in Busan. It operates as a cultural and arts complex space for "communication" with the public, rather than just a simple exhibition space. Twice a year, regardless of the artist's origin, it discovers young artists (20-30) and holds a new artist support exhibition called "The Ugly Duckling." The gallery selects one of the artists and supports a solo exhibition titled "The Golden Doors."

The gallery recognizes the importance of Korean artists' overseas expansion and strives to create networks with other countries to promote and exchange art. The gallery also pays a lot of attention to overseas art fairs. Additionally, it operates the "artsoop Academy" for nurturing not only artists and galleries but also collectors, a vital part of the art market, and the domestic and international "art tours" programs.
