Overwatch 2 Unveils First Musician Collaboration and Special In-Game Content

Blizzard Entertainment, the developer of the free-to-play team-based action game Overwatch 2, has announced a collaboration with the K-pop sensation Le Sserafim.

The partnership will introduce a Le Sserafim-inspired game mode and exclusive in-game items in Overwatch 2. These additions will be revealed on Tuesday and will become accessible to players on November 1, according to Blizzard Entertainment's statement.

Additionally, Blizzard Entertainment took part in the creation of the music video for Le Sserafim's debut English single, "Perfect Night," which is set to premiere on October 27.

The collaboration between Overwatch 2 and Le Sserafim marks the first time that the game franchise has worked with a musician to integrate in-game content.

In an Instagram post, Overwatch 2 unveiled special artwork featuring Le Sserafim's game avatars, adding to the excitement surrounding the partnership.

Le Sserafim is scheduled to perform "Perfect Night" at BlizzCon 2023, an annual gaming convention hosted by Blizzard Entertainment. The event will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in California on November 4. This marks the first occasion in which a K-pop artist participates in BlizzCon, which serves as a platform to showcase Blizzard Entertainment's major franchises, including Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch.
