Keena, a member of the group Fifty Fifty, has made allegations against Ahn Sung-il, a representative of the outsourcing company The Givers, concerning the group's ongoing contract dispute with their agency, Attrakt.
In an interview with local media outlet Dispatch, Keena disclosed that Ahn had advised the group to seek an injunction to terminate their exclusive contract with Attrakt. According to Keena, Ahn suggested that she feign a COVID-19 diagnosis in June as a means to use the quarantine period for leaving the dormitory provided by Attrakt.
Keena stated, "Producer Ahn said that we could evade the agency's notice if I faked having contracted COVID-19. He insisted that we should avoid interactions with our agency." However, Keena's trust in Ahn waned when the group applied for the injunction to end their contract with Attrakt.
"He proposed that we take this step, but he informed us that he couldn't publicly assist us, only privately providing evidence. He claimed it was a battle we had to win ourselves, but he failed to present credible evidence and withdrew his support," she explained.
Keena also raised concerns about a change in her copyright ownership for the track "Cupid." She claimed that her copyright share had dropped from 6.5 percent to 0.5 percent through an application she did not authorize.
Furthermore, Keena alleged that Ahn had spoken with her father over the phone to persuade her parents. She mentioned that Ahn suggested that Attrakt's representative, Jeon Hong-jun, sought a significant investment that would lead to the group incurring debt, influencing her parents' decisions.
Keena also asserted that Ahn fueled tensions between Jeon and the group by stating, "Jeon intended to disband the group after promoting their first album."
Keena expressed regret for not directly reaching out to Jeon to address the misunderstandings, citing Ahn's interference.
It's worth noting that Fifty Fifty, excluding Keena, continues to be entangled in a legal dispute with their agency, Attrakt.
