NINE GALLERY was opened in 1994 on Art Street in Gwangju, Korea by CEO Yang Seung-chan. Currently, the gallery has an exhibition space of 80 pyeong and a storage space of 20 pyeong.

Since the first exhibition in 1996, titled ‘The 16 People Meet in the Nude’, NINE GALLERY has been discovering talented artists through approximately 10 invitational and special exhibitions every year.

The gallery is operated by a representative, an exhibition manager, and an overseas curator, and is recognized as a representative gallery in Gwangju, Korea's major art center.

In 2001, Nine Art Consulting was opened, and art experts provide art consulting for domestic and foreign public institutions, golf courses, and hospitals.

Furthermore, since the New York Art Fair in 2006, NINE GALLERY has actively participated in more than 10 international art fairs every year and promoted promising artists to the world art market.
