UK StART Art Fair, first landing in Seoul in September

StART Art Fair Seoul 2022 will be held from September 1 to 6 at Galleria Foret The seouliteum. StART Art Fair, first launched in 2014, is a satellite art fair held at Saatchi Gallery in England during Frieze Week every October. This time, it will be held in Seoul during the Freeze Seoul.
In this exhibition, works by a total of 200 domestic and foreign artists selected through rigorous screening will be divided into 60 booths to welcome art visitors.
Korean artists include Kim Tae-ho, Kim Byung-jong, Byen ung-pil, Song Min-ho, Gian 84, and Nancy Lang.
Overseas artists include South African wildlife photographer Chris Fallows, Japanese Evangelion animator Yoneyama Mai, British popartist Mark Sloper, and American Fara Thomas. , Kenta Cobayashi, and others.
The works exhibited in this exhibition will be sequentially displayed at the Saatchi Gallery in London, UK, and meet the world's art visitors.
UK StART Art Fair founder David Ciclitira and curator Serenella Ciclitira visited Seoul in May and said, “I am delighted to be able to work with wonderful Korean artists again. By doing so, it will be of great help in establishing Seoul as a hub for Asian art.”
An official from StART Art Korea said, “The visit of leaders who lead the world art will have a positive effect on the formation of the domestic art market. We will do our best to establish it as an event that can provide huge cultural benefits along with commercial success. It will be a good opportunity for talented Korean artists and Korean galleries to be introduced abroad.”
