ITZY, the popular K-pop girl group, has been awarded a gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for their hit song "Wannabe."
As announced by the RIAA on Monday (U.S. time), the lead track "Wannabe" from ITZY's second EP, "It'z Me," released on March 9, 2020, has officially received gold certification.
Certifications by the RIAA range from gold (500,000 units) to platinum (1 million units), multi-platinum (2 million units), and diamond (10 million units). These certifications encompass physical and digital album sales, digital downloads, and audio and video streams.
