Korean boy band Stray Kids has released teaser photos for their upcoming third studio album, signaling the group's return to the music scene. The eight members of the band can be seen dressed in retro outfits against an '80s-themed backdrop in the photos uploaded on Wednesday.
The release of the teaser photos follows the trailer video for their 12-track album, titled “Unveil: Track 1 ‘DCL,’” which was released on Monday and quickly rose to the top of YouTube’s trending worldwide chart. Fans are eagerly anticipating the album's release on June 2.
The band's previous two albums, EPs “Oddinary” and “Maxident,” both topped the Billboard 200 chart in May and October of last year, respectively. “Oddinary” sold more than 2 million units, while “Maxident” sold over 3 million, breaking the label’s sales record. Given the band's previous success, expectations are high for their upcoming album.
The third studio album is expected to showcase the band's growth and musical evolution. Stray Kids has gained a loyal following both in Korea and internationally, thanks to their unique sound and engaging performances.
As the K-pop genre continues to gain global popularity, Stray Kids has solidified their position as one of the industry's most promising acts. The band has consistently pushed the boundaries of K-pop, incorporating elements of hip-hop, rock, and electronic music into their sound.
With the release of their third studio album just around the corner, fans are eagerly anticipating what the future holds for Stray Kids.
