Blue House Concert Series Celebrates 70th Anniversary of South Korea-US Alliance

The second edition of the Blue House Concert series is set to take place on November 5, in honor of the 70th anniversary of the South Korea-US alliance. The event will be hosted at Chunchugwan, the former media center for Cheong Wa Dae, South Korea's presidential house, located in central Seoul.
The free concert is scheduled to commence at 3 p.m. and will feature a captivating lineup of performances:
American violinist Gil Shaham will take the stage alongside Korean pianist Shin Chang-yong. Their program includes renditions of Mozart's Rondo in C major and Faure's Violin Sonata No.1. Shin will also showcase Schubert's "Die Forelle" and a rearranged version of Mozart's "Turkish March" by Russian pianist Arcadi Volodos.
A 15-member string ensemble from the National Korean Symphony Orchestra will present Mozart's Divertimento in D major, K.136, along with a selection of American folk songs and Korean composer Hong Nan-pa's "Spring in My Hometown."
Harmonica player Park Jong-seong will captivate the audience with renditions of Korean folk songs, including "Bird, Bird, Blue Bird."
To attend this commemorative concert, 150 free tickets are available, and reservations can be made starting at 2 p.m. on Wednesday via Naver.
