The special exhibition "Orlan Hybrid: Artistic Intelligence", celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Gwangju Biennale, is being held at the Pohang Museum of Art until May 11.
Organized by the Gwangju Media Art Platform, this exhibition aims to strengthen Gwangju’s identity as a city of media art.
Through the exhibition, Orlan presents works addressing contemporary and profound themes such as post-humanism, gender, and the climate crisis.
Notably, the artist unveils new pieces exploring the coexistence of humans, animals, and nature in overcoming climate challenges.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience Orlan’s world, where she uses her own body as both the subject and medium of her work to explore identity.
