BTS’s Suga Set to Complete Military Service on Saturday

SEOUL — Suga, a member of global K-pop sensation BTS, will be discharged from South Korea’s mandatory military service this Saturday, according to a statement from BigHit Music released Wednesday.
The agency confirmed that there will be no official discharge event and urged fans not to visit the undisclosed location in Seoul where Suga has been serving, citing safety concerns due to potential crowding.
“We kindly request that you send your warm welcome and support from the heart,” the company said.
Unlike his bandmates, Suga served as a social service agent due to health-related reasons. With his discharge, all seven members of BTS will have completed their mandatory military duties.
