SM Entertainment Announces Member's Recovery Process Following Pneumothorax Surgery

Winter, a member of the K-pop girl group aespa, is undergoing a period of recovery after undergoing pneumothorax surgery, as stated by SM Entertainment on Friday.
The agency emphasized that Winter's health is the primary concern, and decisions regarding her future schedules will be based on her health condition.
The surgery was performed preemptively based on medical recommendations to prevent the recurrence of the disease.
This announcement coincides with aespa's preparations for an upcoming release next month and their scheduled commencement of a second world tour in Seoul in June.
