The worn-out glasses that once helped someone see the world clearly have been resurrected shining beings again.
The creator is Lee Sun-mi, an artist.
Her sketchbook is full of mathematical formulas. Because she needs to cut the pieces of glass to exact dimensions to create her creations.
She matches the eyeglasses with different refractive indices. Then, the connected glass beads slowly begin to gain vitality.
Each glass bead and the connection of their refractions symbolize the relationship between individuals and groups in human society.
The delicate beauty and shadows created by the difference in refraction of eyeglasses give the impression that ordinary materials are sublimated into art.
The glasses were resurrected and became shiny glass bottles.
