South Korean boy group Seventeen's agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced Monday that the group's upcoming compilation album, "17 is Right Here," has amassed over 3 million preorders. The data, sourced from the album's distributor YG Plus, marks a significant achievement for the group, particularly considering the album compiles past hits rather than featuring new material.
Anticipating further growth in preorder numbers, Pledis Entertainment pointed to a recent announcement by Seventeen that the album will include four new tracks. Scheduled for release the following Monday, the album consists of two CDs, featuring lead tracks from both Korean and Japanese albums since the group's debut in 2015.
Ahead of the album drop, Seventeen, comprised of thirteen members, will hold a two-day standalone concert at Seoul World Cup Stadium over the weekend.
