K-pop group Plave is making waves with a cinematic promotional campaign for their upcoming mini-album “Caligo Pt.1,” set to release on February 3, 2025. Collaborating with CGV, Korea's leading multiplex cinema chain, the group is transforming their comeback into an immersive, movie-like experience.
CGV has launched teaser images and a dedicated promotional page for “Caligo Pt.1” on its platform, showcasing visuals that are intense and cinematic, perfectly aligning with the mysterious concept of the album.
Since January 21, CGV has been distributing promotional posters for Plave's new release at 25 theaters nationwide. To further amplify the comeback's visibility, CGV has rolled out digital video advertisements during the Lunar New Year holiday.
Select locations, including CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall, CGV Yeongdeungpo, CGV Wangsimni, and CGV Gangnam, are presenting LED screen videos featuring previews of the “Caligo Pt.1” music video. This innovative strategy merges music and cinema, offering fans a dynamic promotional experience.
This marks Plave's return after five months, following their August release of the digital single “Pump Up The Volume!” The track achieved significant success, claiming the No. 1 spot on Melon’s major charts. Moreover, Plave made history by becoming the fastest group to enter Melon’s prestigious “Billions Club” with over 1 billion cumulative streams across all their songs.
“Caligo Pt.1” represents a new chapter for Plave, showcasing their evolution as artists. Their collaboration with CGV underscores their commitment to pushing boundaries and redefining K-pop promotion.
Plave's new album will be available on all major music platforms starting February 3 at 6 PM KST. With their innovative approach and consistent achievements, the group is poised to captivate both domestic and global audiences.
Fans eagerly anticipate the impact “Caligo Pt.1” will have, as Plave continues to solidify their position as a groundbreaking force in the K-pop industry.
