Teresa Freitas, a photographer from Portugal, holds a photo exhibition, 'Spring Light' in Busan, South Korea.
Teresa was born in Lisbon, Portugal in 1990 where is a bright and sunny climate, and is a creative photographer who uses pictures, videos, and stop-motion to express her experiences while living there. She is loved for producing pastel-toned pictures that resemble a dream world.
The artist traveled to cities around the world for inspiration. She captured various spring scenes with her unique eyes by traveling to major cities around the world, including San Francisco, Palm Springs, Malta, Venice, and Budapest in the spring.
In the exhibition, she showcase photographs of warm-colored objects and landscapes related to spring. Flowers, buildings, natural landscapes, and her studio add color to the everyday scenery of her life, creating a warmer and more fairytale atmosphere.
The artist said, "Color is the most important part of my work", explaining her creative world for soft, warm colors that are distinct from the works of other artists. She adds that she invests time in color to show how her mind remembers each place.
Teresa explained how she came to recognize herself as an artist, saying, "It took a long time for me to possibly admit that I was an artist and deserved to be called as much" and added, "The easiest part is getting to play around and call it work."
The exhibition will be held until March 31 next year at the Dong-gu Cultural Platform in Busan.
