K-pop sensation BTS is gearing up to release a new digital single, "The Planet," which will serve as the original soundtrack for the upcoming TV animation series "Bastions." The song marks the group's first release as a full lineup in nearly a year since "Yet To Come" in June 2022. The digital single is set to drop at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 13th, and the physical album will be available for purchase on May 25th, according to the group's agency, Big Hit Music.
"Bastions" follows a group of rookie superheroes who band together to save the Earth from villains responsible for environmental pollution. The show's first episode will be aired on Sunday by local broadcaster SBS.
