Media Reports Detail Circumstances Surrounding Lee's Hospitalization

In recent social media posts on Instagram, Lee shared photos allegedly depicting injuries sustained from assault by her husband in 2021. She also mentioned suffering from online bullying, fraud, and hacking.
Lee Areum joined T-ara in 2012 and debuted with the group's 6th mini album, "DAY BY DAY." After leaving T-ara, she pursued a solo career and appeared in various television programs, including KBS2's "The Unit" in 2017 and TV Chosun's "Tomorrow's National Singer" in 2021.
