Contemporary artist Toby Ziegler holds a solo exhibition in South Korea

British contemporary artist Toby Ziegler's solo exhibition, 'Broken Images' is held at PKM Gallery in Seoul.
Through this exhibition, the artist will present the results of exploring objects, images, and spaces that connect classical art and modern technology in his own way.
He said about the exhibition, "If my existing work was about corrosion and erosion, the exhibition this time is accumulation". And he added, "The painting arts are not absolutely based on knowledge, but starting with ignorance and finding a compromise."
He is based in London and held his first solo exhibition in South Korea in 2015. and has since held an exhibition through PKM Gallery, Seoul every four years.
'Broken Images', the exhibition name and the main work of this solo exhibition, is derived from a line from the American-British poet T.S Eliot's 'The Waste Land', which reveals a dry and devastated human image caused by civilization and contains a desire for salvation.
The exhibition runs from the 17th to December 23rd and will be held at the PKM Gallery in Samcheong-dong, Seoul.
