The virtual K-pop boy band 'Plave', which began as MBC's special project in 2021 and debuted in 2023, is making cultural repercussions.
The boy band recently became the first virtual idol group to top the list with Way 4 Luv on MBC's music show 'Show! Music Core'.
The boy band's songs and choreography are produced with the support and participation of real K-pop idols, which sets them apart in the industry.
They currently have more than 650,000 YouTube subscribers and nearly 90,000 online fan club members.
In addition, their second EP, 'Asterum: 134-1' was a significant commercial success, selling 569,000 copies in the first week of its release.
The production company Vlast has recently received investments from HYBE and YG Plus to expand its original culture of virtual idols.
