Acclaimed Polish-Greek digital artist Adam Arthouros Martinakis is pushing boundaries and reshaping the art world with his unique vision. His work serves as a spiritual and material bridge, juxtaposing the living with the absent, and the personal with the universal. Martinakis's compositions craft narratives out of nonexistence, resonating with the echo of the living void while delving into the metaphysics of perception.
Born in 1972 in Lubań, Poland, Martinakis moved to Athens, Greece at the tender age of 10. He nurtured his passion for arts and design in Athens, where he studied Interior Architecture, Decorative Arts, and Industrial Design. In the year 2000, he began to experiment with computer-generated visual media, including 3D digital image and rendering, digital sculpture, digital video, and new media.
Martinakis's exceptional contribution to the digital art field extends beyond creation. He has educated numerous students in digital arts and design, graphics, interior design, and ceramic design at various art institutes. Today, he is a respected member of the Greek Chamber of Fine Arts and divides his time between his homes in Poland, Greece, and the United Kingdom.
