To mark National Pizza Month in the United States, Tabasco is hosting a Pizza Festa in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong District, eastern Seoul. The event, organized in collaboration with @zele_park, a Seongsu-dong-based food and news Instagram account, kicked off on Tuesday and is scheduled to run until October 31.

Tabasco's Pizza Festa brings together eight of the neighborhood's most fashionable pizza parlors, with a map of their locations shared on social media. The participating venues, all situated around Ttukseom and Seongsu subway stations, include The Fitzza, Dough Society, Pizza Turtles, Paperplate, Podo-Pizza, P’eatzza, Pizza Season, and HDD.

Throughout the collaboration period, these venues will offer various events and gifts to customers who order specific menu items and post pictures on Instagram using designated hashtags. Scratch-off cards, Tabasco merchandise, and mini bottles of Tabasco will be among the giveaways.

In addition to these festivities, several of the participating pizzerias are introducing special Tabasco-themed dishes. Paperplate is serving a limited "Tabasco edition" pizza called "hot meat," while Podo-Pizza features a Tabasco cream shrimp pizza with unique lettering using the sauce. HDD offers an upgraded Tabasco hot chicken pizza, and Pizza Turtle pairs its offerings with Tabasco-mayo sauce, served alongside a half-potato and half-combination pie.

Dough Society presents a lamb masala pie, The Fitzza offers pepperoni and spinach pizza slices inspired by the Tabasco bottle's colors, and P’eatzza pairs a salami pizza with fish and chips, complementing the American hot sauce.

Seongsu-dong is often likened to the Brooklyn of Seoul, known for its vibrant creative community, which has revitalized the neighborhood's former warehouses and transformed it into one of the city's trendiest districts. Notably, Seongsu-dong was among the most frequently tagged locations on Instagram in 2022, according to the Korea Tourism Organization.

Additional details about Tabasco's Pizza Festa pop-up collaboration can be found on the respective social media pages of the participating pizza venues.
