Art Toy Store Kinki Robot holds a special exhibition 'ATOM' at its flagship store located in Apgujeong.
'ATOM' is the name of the boy robot character who is the main character of ASTRO BOY, a cartoon representing Osamu Tezuka, a master Japanese cartoonist.
The cartoon was the beginning of Japanese animation and gained popularity at the time with ratings of more than 30 percent, with booklets exceeding 100 million in 1981 and 200 million in 2019.
A special exhibition on ATOM', which has been loved for more than 60 years around the world, will be held until May 7.
In this exhibition, selected works from 1,000 works owned by Nam.D Collectors, who have collected Atom from all over the world for more than 20 years, will be displayed.
In addition, figures from Atom Edition, released in collaboration with IT creators ITSub and FXIP, and Blitzway, which is made in a limited number of 500 worldwide, will also be displayed.
During the exhibition period, various programs such as figure and magazine presentation events and gift presentation events are prepared for visitors.
