Illit, a newly formed K-pop girl group, unveiled three remixes of their debut single "Magnetic" on Thursday. The remixes include a soft R&B version, an upbeat "starlight" rendition, and a slower "city night" interpretation.
Originally, "Magnetic" served as the lead track for Illit's debut EP, "Super Real Me," which was released last month. The song blends elements of house and trap genres, catering to the dance music scene.
Remarkably, "Magnetic" made its mark on the music charts, entering the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 91. This achievement marked a significant milestone for a debut single from a K-pop artist. Additionally, Illit set a record in K-pop history by entering the main singles chart within 21 days of their debut. The lead single also found success in the UK, debuting on the Official Singles Top 100 at No. 87.
Illit was formed through the audition show "R U Next?" and has quickly gained attention in the industry. The group is currently promoting their follow-up track, "Lucky Girl Syndrome," with a recently unveiled music video.
