On Thursday, agency IPQ announced that boy band Omega X is set to hold an encore concert in Seoul on May 6. The upcoming event, titled "Island: For Everlastin," follows their debut standalone concert in February, marking their return to the stage after three years since their inception.
The concert will feature a new performance alongside the band's existing repertoire. Omega X has been embroiled in a legal battle with their former agency, Spire Entertainment, for approximately two years. Allegations include claims of abuse by the then-deputy head of Spire Entertainment, prompting Omega X to file for an injunction against their contract.
Following the legal proceedings, Omega X terminated their contracts with Spire Entertainment and subsequently signed with their current management firm. In November of the previous year, the band released their third EP, titled "If You Know, You Know."
Earlier this month, Omega X's current agency announced the termination of the bandmates' contracts with Spire Entertainment. However, Spire Entertainment contested this assertion, stating that investigations into the matter were ongoing. Additionally, Spire Entertainment refuted allegations of abuse and instead accused one of the Omega X members of committing sexual harassment.
