Coupang Play has unveiled the second poster and main trailer for its highly anticipated new series, Family Plan. Directed by Kim Gok and Kim Sun, and created by Kim Jung Min, the series offers a chilling yet comedic narrative, blending dark humor with mystery.

Family Plan centers on Yeong Soo (played by Bae Doo Na), a mother with the extraordinary ability to edit memories. Together with her family, she embarks on a mission to deliver hellish retribution to villains, crafting a story laced with black comedy and gripping suspense.

The newly released poster captures the eerie atmosphere of the series. Yeong Soo and Cheol Hee (played by Ryu Seung Bum) appear in blood-stained white gowns, their expressions cold and haunting. The unsettling visuals, featuring Yeong Soo clutching a bloodied knife and a work bag, paired with Cheol Hee holding a small dog amidst scattered blood splatters, heighten the tension and curiosity.

The main trailer starts with a chilling line from Yeong Soo: “Whatever you imagined, it will be far more horrifying, so pay close attention.” Her ominous tone sets the stage for a suspense-filled journey. The concept of “brain hacking” is introduced as Cheol Hee explains, “It’s about completely controlling memories,” further deepening the intrigue.

The trailer showcases the family’s desperate battles. Yeong Soo declares, “No matter how many lives it costs, nothing is more important than our Ji Hoon and Ji Woo,” underscoring her fierce maternal love. The action sequences are intense, promising high-stakes drama and adrenaline-filled moments.

Veteran actor Baek Yoon Shik closes the trailer as Kang Sung, delivering a simple yet impactful line: “Haven’t we become just a little more like a real family than yesterday?” His words hint at the complex dynamics of this unconventional family.

A Coupang Play representative shared, “The series explores how five unrelated individuals transform into a family. Viewers can look forward to a unique mix of dark comedy, mysterious family business, and unexpected chemistry.”

Family Plan is set to premiere on November 29 at 8 PM, promising to captivate audiences with its distinctive storytelling and provocative themes.
