GalleryMEME, located in the heart of Insa-dong, has been actively seeking out and supporting emerging artists since 2015. The gallery's mission is to push the boundaries of contemporary art by showcasing the works of up-and-coming artists who challenge conventional ideas.
In addition to showcasing young artists in Korea, GalleryMEME also hosts special exhibitions for emerging artists from around the world. The gallery also provides a platform for established artists to showcase their latest works and deepen their artistic practice.
GalleryMEME sees itself as a cultural carrier or "meme" that can awaken and expand new perspectives on contemporary art. Through its efforts to support and promote emerging artists, the gallery hopes to play a significant role in shaping the direction of contemporary art.
