A creative artist has embarked on an ambitious project to transform massive grain silos into stunning works of art, turning industrial structures into decorative jewels that capture public attention. The XXL-Silos project represents a unique fusion of industrial heritage and contemporary artistic expression, breathing new life into these towering agricultural monuments.

The transformation process involves reimagining these colossal storage facilities, which have long served as purely functional elements of the agricultural landscape. Current market data shows the agricultural sector remains robust, with A-wheat trading at 172.67 EUR/t in the 38th calendar week of 2025, representing a decrease of 2.17 from the previous week. Bread wheat prices stood at 163.83 EUR/t with a minor decline of 0.58, while brewing barley was priced at 173.36 EUR/t, down 1.67 from the week before.

Grain corn showed positive movement at 170.60 EUR/t, gaining 0.72 from the previous week, and rapeseed demonstrated the strongest performance at 441.30 EUR/t, up 5.53. The livestock sector also showed varied performance, with E-class pigs trading at 2.01 EUR/kg slaughter weight and S-class pigs at 2.03 EUR/kg slaughter weight. Piglets weighing 28 kg in groups of 100 were priced at 67.43 EUR per head, showing a minimal decrease of 0.01.

The agricultural commodity market continues to fluctuate, with young bulls R3 class commanding 7.16 EUR/kg slaughter weight, reflecting a slight increase of 0.02. Feed market prices for September 2025 showed rapeseed meal at 256.26 EUR/t, down significantly by 23.28 from the previous month, while soybean meal with 43/44 crude protein content reached 346.18 EUR/t, gaining 5.62. Large hay bales were priced at 115.43 EUR/t with a modest increase of 0.30, and straw in large bales cost 97.67 EUR/t, showing a notable rise of 7.89.
