Speculation about a potential romantic involvement between footballer Lee Kang-in and actor Lee Na-eun, formerly of the disbanded girl group April, has surfaced, as reported by The Fact on Tuesday.
According to the Korean news outlet, the two individuals were observed together on several occasions, with Lee Na-eun reportedly visiting the national football team's accommodation in Yeouido, western Seoul. Allegedly, the actor met Lee Kang-in in her car on both November 14 and November 15, following which they spent time together at her residence after the second game of the 2026 World Cup Asian qualifiers.
While The Fact reported these encounters, Lee Na-eun's agency, Namoo Actors, promptly denied any romantic involvement, asserting that the two are merely acquaintances. The agency further stated that Lee Na-eun visited the footballer to secure tickets for a match.
Lee Na-eun, who debuted in 2015 as a member of April under DSP Media, transitioned to acting and gained recognition for her roles in web series such as "A-Teen" (2018–19) and "Extraordinary You" (2019). April disbanded in January 2022 amid allegations of bullying within the group.
Meanwhile, Lee Kang-in is a professional footballer currently playing for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain, and he is a regular member of the national team. Both agencies involved, Namoo Actors and the footballer's representation, have not issued official comments regarding the speculated relationship.
