Yoo is a contemporary Korean artist who creates photography by applying various colored pigments to glass plates with a unique technique.
She creates works by mixing cyano-type drugs and various colored pigments and spraying them on a glass plate, making a single glass photographic disk, and photographing them in layers.
She was fascinated by the fragile and held also hard glass material and built her creative world after numerous trials and errors.
The crack engraved on her work symbolizes the artist's lack. While producing her work, she gained the power to heal herself in the process of creating cracks in the artworks in a new meaning.
The exhibition is her third solo exhibition, where the audience can feel her unique creative style and delicate view of art through the exhibition.
