K-pop artist Jessica is gearing up for the release of her new mini album, "Beep Beep," on November 22. The album comprises six tracks, with the titular track sharing the same name as the album.
In addition to the album release, Jessica has disclosed plans for an Asia tour, featuring stops in Singapore and Macao. However, it remains uncertain whether she will promote the album in South Korea, as she has not been active in the country since her departure from the K-pop girl group Girls' Generation in 2014.
Post her exit from the group, Jessica delved into the fashion industry, establishing her own brand and primarily engaging in activities in China. Notably, she gained recognition in China through her participation in the third season of the girl group survival program "Sisters Who Make Waves."
The program, showcasing female celebrities aged 30 and above, involved a competition to form a new girl group. Jessica secured the second position and re-debuted as a member of the group X-Sister.
Having initially debuted in 2007 as part of Girls' Generation, one of K-pop's prominent girl groups, Jessica's departure from the band was marked by a disagreement with management company SM Entertainment over her fashion brand.
