The collection, titled “Bright Star,” draws inspiration from the North Star, symbolizing hope and future aspirations. Songzio presented vibrant and youthful designs crafted from asymmetric geometric shapes, emphasizing unfettered self-expression.
In a departure from its signature palette of black, gray, and navy, the collection featured bold colors such as azure and neon pink. Fabrics ranged from heavy to light textures, juxtaposing rough and soft finishes to create exaggerated forms and slouchy silhouettes.
Founded in 1993 as a womenswear brand, Songzio transitioned to menswear in 2000 and has been a regular participant at Paris Fashion Week since 2006. Under the leadership of Jay Song since 2018, the brand recently opened its first flagship store in Seoul and plans to expand with flagships in Paris in September and New York next year.
Alongside Songzio, other prominent Korean brands including Wooyoungmi, Solid Homme, Juun.J, and System also showcased their latest creations during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, highlighting the global influence of Korean fashion.
