Illustrator Gi-Mwi's first solo exhibition, 'Slow Package(느린 소포)' is held in Daegu.
Gi-Mwi is a Korean illustrator who is gaining popularity on social media for her unique lovely and warm character design and trendyness. Her first solo exhibition, held on the 29th, will be held until January 2nd of next year at Like Thiz With, an art gallery in Daegu.
The artist announced on her Instagram account that 27 paintings will be displayed and said, "I prepared the works as if I were a postman at a slow post office.". The audience also can purchase goods such as postcards and bookmarks in the exhibition.
She explained the significance name of the exhibition, "I hope that the precious feelings of the past time, which we have forgotten, will be delivered well at each time.".
Meanwhile, 'Like Thiz' an art platform where the exhibition is held, is a regional win-win art platform company that enhances communication with artists and works, customers, and visitors. 'Like Thiz' continues to recruit local artists who have relatively few opportunities to communicate with the audience to provide to give a chance for individual exhibitions and special exhibitions.
