Jung-wook Kim is a Korean artist who creates her unique artworks using traditional techniques and materials such as Korean ink and paper, Jang-ji.
The artist uses Korean ink to depict humans, energy, life, and curiosity about the universe. With her own eerie yet cute side, the painting style has the recognition of many art lovers.
Kim is evaluated for suggesting a new direction for Korean painting, and also conducting experimental creative activities such as work that combines ceramic and painting.
She is currently hosting her solo exhibition, 'All Things', at the OCI Museum of Art in Jongro-gu, Seoul.
In the exhibition, the artist captures human individuals and cosmic energy based on the theme of "face." The exhibition will be held until Feb. 8 next year.
