With the global popularity of Rosé and Bruno Mars’ new song, “APT,” a song of the same name is also gaining attention.
Originally released in 1982 as part of Yoon Soo-il Band’s second album, “Apartment” quickly rose to national anthem status in Korea.
The song, which mournfully describes lingering around an ex-lover’s apartment, has been remade in various versions over the years.
With the recent success of Rosé’s “APT,” Yoon Soo-il’s song has also been rediscovered by younger generations, who refer to it as a “vintage apartment” classic.
In response to this newfound enthusiasm, Yoon Soo-il has humorously proposed to treat Rosé to a meal someday, garnering considerable attention.
