The Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) announced that the 2025 Gyeonggi International Boat Show will take place from February 28 to March 2 at its first exhibition hall. Celebrating its 18th year, the event has grown into a pivotal platform for the marine leisure industry in South Korea.

The exhibition will feature an extensive range of marine leisure products, including yachts, boats, and other recreational vessels, as well as equipment and accessories. Visitors will also find displays on marine tourism, surfing, and caravans, offering a comprehensive look at the domestic and international marine leisure market.

In addition to product showcases, the event will host hands-on activities, making it a family-friendly destination. Interactive marine leisure experiences are designed to engage visitors of all ages, adding an exciting element to the exhibition.

This year’s show will welcome prominent industry players such as Boat Korea, S-Tech Marine, Rocky, OPS Marine, Hyundai Sanggong Motors, and Star Boat. It will also highlight emerging domestic manufacturers like Star Marine, showcasing the diverse and innovative landscape of Korea’s marine leisure sector.

A major highlight of the 2025 event is the introduction of the Eco-Friendly High-Tech Pavilion. This special section will spotlight sustainable and advanced marine technologies. HD Hyundai’s subsidiary, Avikus, will debut its commercial-stage autonomous navigation technology for recreational vessels. Other participants include Pharos Marine, which focuses on electric propulsion systems, and DM Tech, a manufacturer of marine AI black boxes. These groundbreaking technologies aim to shape the future of eco-conscious marine activities.

The exhibition will also emphasize safety with a Marine Safety Pavilion, featuring displays of safety equipment and interactive demonstrations. This initiative underscores the importance of secure and responsible marine leisure activities, enhancing the overall experience for attendees.

Lee Jae Yul, CEO of KINTEX, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “As an exhibition that attracts both B2C and B2B visitors, the Gyeonggi International Boat Show offers an enriched experience for everyone. KINTEX is committed to ensuring the success of this event, which plays a vital role in the growth of the marine leisure industry.”

Jointly organized by Gyeonggi Province and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and managed by KINTEX, the Korea Marina Association, and the Korea Marine Leisure Industry Association, the 2025 Gyeonggi International Boat Show will be held concurrently with the Korea International Fishing Show. Together, these events are expected to attract significant attention from industry professionals and marine enthusiasts alike.
