The special exhibition "Seongpa Seonye – COSMOS," showcases the spiritual and artistic world of Ven. Seongpa will be held at the Seoul Arts Center until November 17.
Ven. Seongpa, who has been a Buddhist monk for 60 years and an artist for 40 years, continues to merge his spiritual practice with artistic expression.
The exhibition primarily features lacquerworks, which the monk views as part of his spiritual practice.
The exhibition also presents unique installations, including lacquer pieces submerged in water and large-scale sculptures.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the vibrant harmony of art and spirituality in the monk’s works.
