Three artists from diverse fields have united in a single location for the captivating exhibition titled "Space. Drawing. Fashion." Now open to the public at 'CAFORE.' in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, this extraordinary showcase promises to engage and captivate visitors.
On the 7th, CAFORE. The Gallery announced, "Within our exhibition, 'Trees, Clouds, Wind (Space.Drawing.Fashion.),' the concept behind the artworks is beautifully intertwined. Wind symbolizes 'fashion,' clouds embody 'art,' and trees epitomize 'space.' This captivating showcase unifies visual and comprehensive art in a single location."
Lim Mee Jeong, a visual space expert, delved into the sub-theme of "trees that capture space" for the exhibition.
She expressed, "Through organizing the exhibition space, my aim was to convey the fusion of fashion and painting within the beauty and harmony of nature. I believe that human choices originated beneath the shelter of a tree, distinguishing between good and evil. Even in the present day, humans face daily temptations, standing at the crossroads of decision-making. In this exhibition, I sought to depict the human ego positioned at the intersection of choices within a spatial context. I highlighted the significance of wood as both the foundation and the final touch within nature."
Hong Ji Youn, who pursued studies in the United States and Italy, embraced the sub-topic of "clouds to admire painting" With a background as a fashion illustrator, she is currently engrossed in her latest creation, "Dandy Mac," a character representing Caporet's beloved standard poodle named Mac. Within this exhibition, Hong introduces the audience to the charismatic 'Dandy Mac,' a celebrated figure within Capore's realm. Through her serene drawings, she masterfully captures the harmonious blend of grass, clouds, and Dandy Mac's distinctive elegance, undoubtedly capturing the attention of the spectators.
On the 24th of this month, as the exhibition draws to a close, a thrilling festival named "Meeting of Baroque and Tango" is set to take place. The event will feature a captivating collaborative performance by violinist SHIN Sunney and cellist RA Inkuk, both members of Ensemble Serenus, a renowned classical music organization. Additionally, attendees can anticipate an exciting fashion show collaboration between MEYOOMI and SHARA. The festival promises to ignite the atmosphere with its mesmerizing blend of music and fashion.
Located in Yangpyeong, near Seoul, CAFORE., owned by fashion designer SARAH KIM, stands as a multifaceted cultural establishment encompassing a gallery, café, and garden.
