Recorded at KBS headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, Eilish's segment on "The Seasons," a successor to the popular "Yoo Hee-yeol's Sketchbook," promises an engaging mix of conversation and performance.
Now in its fifth season, the show is helmed by Zico from K-pop group Block B, following previous seasons hosted by prominent Korean artists such as Jay Park, Choi Jung-Hoon of Jannabi, AKMU, and Lee Hyo-ri.
Scheduled to air at 10 p.m. this Friday, Eilish's appearance on "The Seasons - Zico's Artist" coincides with her current visit to Korea to promote her third studio album, "Hit Me Hard and Soft," released in May.
In addition to her KBS appearance, Eilish recently filmed an episode of the tvN variety show "You Quiz on the Block," alongside hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Cho Sae-ho, set to broadcast in June. During her visit, Eilish and her mother enjoyed a special studio setup, reminiscent of her personal space, capturing memorable moments with the hosts.
Earlier this week, Eilish hosted an exclusive listening session at Grand Walkerhill Seoul in Gwangjin-gu, sharing tracks from her latest album with Korean fans. The event featured a surprise appearance by Jennie from Blackpink as the interviewer, discussing inspirations behind tracks like "Skinny" and "Chihiro," influenced by the Japanese anime "Spirited Away."
Eilish, whose debut album "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" earned five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year in 2020, continues to captivate global audiences with her distinctive sound and artistic vision.Sayart / Jack Lee, wangjb77@gmail.com
