Following the recent hacking incident involving SHINee’s Taemin, another Big Planet Made (BPM) artist, Bad Villain, has fallen victim to a similar attack. On December 18, BPM confirmed that Bad Villain’s official YouTube channel had been compromised, but assured fans that they were working closely with YouTube to resolve the issue.

The agency revealed that the individual behind the attack has been identified as the same hacker responsible for breaching Taemin’s YouTube channel on December 15. BPM expressed deep concern over the recurring incidents, calling them a deliberate and targeted effort to harm their artists.

Legal action has already commenced regarding Taemin’s case, with the agency filing an official complaint. BPM confirmed that they plan to follow through with similar measures for Bad Villain, stating, “We will act swiftly to report and pursue legal consequences for this hacking incident.”

This is not the first time BPM artists have faced such malicious activities. In September, several of their artists, including Bad Villain, experienced similar hacks, during which channel names were changed to “Tesla US.” The agency highlighted the pattern of repeated attacks, emphasizing their determination to uncover the hacker’s identity and motives.

In a statement, BPM expressed frustration and anger over the situation. “We cannot suppress our outrage. We will thoroughly investigate who is behind these persistent attacks and why they are targeting our artists,” the agency declared.

The agency also extended an apology to fans, acknowledging their disappointment. “Despite our efforts to implement all possible preventative measures, we deeply apologize for the recurrence of such incidents,” BPM stated. “We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to fans and will take exhaustive steps to prevent further harm.”

Fortunately, as of 8 AM on December 19, Bad Villain’s YouTube channel has been restored to its original state, with all previously uploaded content intact. The agency assured fans that additional security measures are being implemented to safeguard their artists’ digital platforms.

This incident highlights the growing prevalence of cyberattacks targeting public figures and their online platforms. As BPM intensifies its efforts to protect its artists and pursue justice, fans are rallying in support, calling for stronger actions against digital threats in the entertainment industry.
