The artist who threads 'Pearl Sculptures'

A solo exhibition <Jean-Michel Othoniel : Treasure Gardens>, of the widely acclaimed French contemporary artist Jean-Michel Othoniel is currently on view across Seoul Museum of Arts (SEMA), its Outdoor Sculpture Park and Deoksugung Palace.

Jean-Michel Othoniel was struck by the lotus flower during his numerous trips to Korea. Lotus flower have a special meaning in Korea. The flower symbolize purity or wisdom because of clean lotus flowers bloom in muddy water. Othoniel casts a magical spell on the the visitors with his Gold Lotus ​which is installed on a Pond of Deoksugung Palace
